Production Manager - Manufacturing & Assembly Location: Menomonee Falls, WI Lead manufacturing operations for a global leader in logistics automation. Caljan is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee assembly operations at our U.S. facility. In this role, you will lead daily production execution while driving safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will manage and develop a production team, optimize workflows, and ensure alignment with operational and business goals in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Why Join Us? * Competitive salary + full benefits (medical, dental, vision) * 401(k) with company match * High-visibility leadership role with direct operational impact * Global company with strong growth and innovation focus * Opportunity to improve processes and build high-performing teams * Collaborative, hands-on manufacturing environment What You'll Do * Lead daily assembly operations focused on safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery * Manage production planning, scheduling, staffing, and workload coordination * Supervise, coach, and develop production employees, including performance management * Drive KPIs for production efficiency, quality, and output * Use ERP systems for production planning, labor tracking, costing, and reporting * Ensure compliance with quality standards across all assembly processes * Lead LEAN manufacturing and 5S continuous improvement initiatives * Partner with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues * Oversee production orders, BOMs, routings, and documentation * Support inventory planning, budgeting input, and the annual physical inventory process * Lead production meetings and communicate updates to leadership * Champion workplace safety as Safety Committee Chair, including audits, training, and compliance What You Bring * Bachelor's degree preferred * 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing or assembly * Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly, or machine-building environments * ERP and production planning experience (2+ years required) * Strong LEAN manufacturing and/or 5S experience * Proven continuous improvement track record in manufacturing * Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment * Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset What the Role is Like This is a hands-on leadership role where priorities can shift quickly.
