About our group:

We are responsible for all aspects of Equipment technology integration, equipment design and modifications, operations data gathering and analysis, failure mode analysis and corrective actions, performance validation, media development process support requests.

About the role - you will:

  • Provide comprehensive solutions to technical problems through the application of engineering analysis, principles, theories, and concepts. Considered as an expert in your field, you will provide effective and complete solutions to complex problems involving multiple factors.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and departments, leveraging persuasive communication skills to support equipment development.
  • Design Engineering for deposition technologies including an assorted array of power supply types supporting the Thin Film deposition of multiple complex materials.
  • Process gas flow management techniques are also an important aspect of this position,
  • Contribute to Initiatives impacting immediate operations through continuous improvement (CIP), as well as the development of innovative technologies from design through qualification (New Technology Introduction, NTI).
  • Have team leadership responsibilities including engineering programs and project management assignments. There is also a Mentoring aspect for the team, helping develop our new team members' knowledge in your field of expertise.
  • Provide the technical and engineering expertise required to ensure successful definition, execution, and completion of complex equipment related projects.
  • Hold engineering and / or project management responsibility across the full lifecycle including specification, design, development, and implementation supporting Continuous Improvement (CIP) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) initiatives from concept through end-of-life.
  • Partner with management to define technical project milestones, establish measurement systems, and determine engineering resource requirements to ensure successful execution of assigned initiatives.

About you:

  • Highly skilled in the relevant technical skills and techniques associated with media cleaning technologies.
  • Have in depth understanding of the theoretical technical principles associated with media processing.
  • A collaborator with the ability to work with cross functional and international partners

Your experience includes:

  • Media manufacturing or similar industry experience
  • Prior Mechatronics engineering design experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety-first approach, integrating safety into all engineering decision and operational practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of equipment design and operational principles, with ability to apply this expertise to complex systems and challenges.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex engineering and technical concepts to cross-functionals teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
  • Strong capability to provide accurate, timely, and structured updates on project and assignment status to management.
  • Recent and relevant project management experience, with a history of leading complex initiatives and delivering results across multiple stakeholders.
  • Prior project management experience.
  • Able to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering related field (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, Materials, Physics, or Information Technology) and 12+ years of experience or master's degree in the same and 8+ years' experience or PhD and 5+ years' experience or equivalent experience and education.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,550.40 - $219,442.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
