Travel Requirements: Up to 70% travel within the Southwest United States

Candidates must reside within the Southwestern United States and be located near a major airport to accommodate frequent travel.

Job Overview

The Account Manager - M&E is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market share across the Southwest United States. This role focuses on supporting drilling and mining customers by delivering technical product solutions, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within the exploration and mining sector.

The position requires a strong blend of commercial acumen and technical understanding of drilling products and applications, with a high degree of field engagement.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the mining and exploration segment across the Southwest US
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers including drill contractors, mining companies, and distributors
  • Identify new business opportunities, including greenfield exploration projects and expansion within existing accounts
  • Provide technical product support and recommend solutions aligned with customer operational needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to inform sales strategy
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and CRM updates in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial agreements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • All other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications



  • Education :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered
  • Experience :
  • 3-7+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within mining, drilling, or related industries
  • Experience supporting mining exploration (M&E) operations strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Field-based experience working directly with customers in industrial or remote environments is an asset
  • Languages :
  • English (required)
  • Spanish (preferred, given regional customer base)
