Yoh is hiring a Dietary Supplement Director of Quality and R&D for our Food and Beverage client in Salt Lake City, Utah. Job Summary: The Director of R&D and Quality is responsible for leading and overseeing all research and development activities related to manufacturing processes, with a strong emphasis on quality control and assurance. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance product quality, minimize defects, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage the R&D and Quality teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and quality-focused work environment. Develop and implement strategic plans for R&D activities aimed at quality improvement. Set clear goals and expectations, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback. Establish and maintain robust quality control processes and standards. Implement comprehensive quality assurance programs to ensure products meet regulatory and customer requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address areas for improvement. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve quality issues. Oversee the development and optimization of manufacturing processes and technologies. Conduct research to identify opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement. Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to monitor and improve process performance. Ensure all R&D and manufacturing activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Work closely with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to align R&D and quality activities with overall business goals. Communicate research findings, project updates, and quality metrics to senior management and stakeholders. Develop and manage the R&D and Quality budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Oversee procurement and maintenance of R&D and Quality equipment and materials. Experience/Education Requirements: At least 15 years of experience in R&D and Quality within the manufacturing industry. Proven track record in quality control and assurance. Extensive experience in a leadership or executive role. Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing). Proficiency in statistical analysis software and quality management systems Estimated Min Rate: $112000.00 Estimated Max Rate: $160000.00 What's In It for You?
