About the Job

Responsibilities

  • 90% Responsible for non-billable tasks related to seeing families in a clinical setting,
    including: organizing patient files, completing chart reviews, taking notes, helping providers communicate with families prior to their appointments, following up on any missing documentation, and acting as a liaison between the physicians and agencies/providers/and social workers.
  • 10% Position will also be engaged in managing survey distribution, collection, and survey data management for surveys related to patient experience, satisfaction, and needs among the AMC patient population.
Qualifications

Required:

  • HS grad or equivalent with some experience or knowledge in academic research environment.
  • Prior experience working collaboratively with multiple people, having good organizational and interpersonal skills, both in person and via phone.

Preferred:

  • Preferred candidates will have experience working with physician faculty, be familiar with UMN Medical School facilities, and have availability 2-3 days week for a couple of hours.

The Adoption Medicine Clinic University of Minnesota is an outpatient clinic serving families with children adopted domestically, internationally, and in foster care.
Founded in 1986, our clinic is a global leader in adoption medicine, research, education and advocacy.

Our providers have completed over 30,000 pre-adoption reviews for children in over 40 countries. We provide pre-adoption consultations, medical reviews, travel counseling, and comprehensive post-adoption care.

Our mission is to be a resource and advocate for children who are adopted, in foster-care and those remaining in institutional care around the world.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range:$17.00 per hour depending on education/qualifications/experience.
