Proven to Perform. ATI is currently looking for the latest member of our R&D Team! This R&D Engineer / Melt Engineer will be based at our Millersburg, Oregon location. We're looking for someone highly motivated with a proactive mindset, has the ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments to delivering high quality, data driven results in a manufacturing environment. The Engineer takes initiative in solving complex problems and enthusiastically tackles challenges including highly uncertain situations. You will work independently as well as alongside the R&D team, operations, maintenance, and customers. In the role you'll make unique products that will end up in space, medical devices and high-performance applications. The markets we serve are just as exciting as the engineering challenges we solve and you actual get to see your work make a real impact in the world. You'll get to work in varied environments to meet the needs of high consequence applications; the role requires adapting to the unknown and developing solutions on the fly as problems come up and customers ask for new things. Through new processes and exposure to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, this role can provide a multitude of growth opportunities as well. Relocation assistance is available.
