What is the role about?

The Industry Marketing Manager leads the development of the go-to-market strategy for the oil and gas industry, collaborating with leaders and specialists to grow the Endress+Hauser brand. This role requires a strong passion for industry advocacy, staying informed on trends, competition, pricing, and product needs while building a network, traveling to key industry locations, and training local teams on an applications-focused approach. The role strengthens the organization's understanding of customer processes while showcasing our unique industry value propositions.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Drive market share growth within the strategic industry by developing and executing a comprehensive industry plan
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholders to establish a 3 to 5 year business roadmap, aligning on objectives and implementing annual action plans to achieve defined targets
  • Strengthen relationships with strategic accounts and key industry players, supporting their development and long-term engagement
  • Develop and promote the industry value proposition, ensuring differentiation and competitive positioning
  • Monitor and analyze long-term market trends, including evolving customer needs and regulatory developments, while contributing to the global industry network
  • Provide strategic insights to the organization, translating vision into actionable outcomes that drive business success.

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field (engineering, business, marketing, etc.) or 5+ years related experience
  • Required travel: 30-50%, primarily within the US (some international)

You may have (preferred):

  • 3 years of gas measurement experience
  • Experience in industry marketing with direct customer engagement, preferably within the oil and gas industry
  • Background in strategic marketing and customer development within the industry
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative
  • Demonstrates moral courage by standing up for their beliefs, taking justifiable risks, addressing contradictions, and knowing when to say no
  • Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit. Collaborates effectively with others, sometimes across departments, to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer experience
  • Builds and maintains strong, trustworthy business relationships, leveraging long-term partnerships to achieve collective success
