What you'll bring: The ideal candidate will have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus. Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead investigation of customer complaint and non-conforming parts in the process.
- Develop and ensure implementation of corrective action.
- Manage Plant calibration system (quality equipment)
- Lead cross-functional team troubleshooting and problem-solving meetings aiming for resolution of customer complaints, audit failures and in-process failures
- Run required tests such as dimensional, impact, burst, crush, and any other pertinent or requested test.
- Ensure all records of audits, tests and quality requirements are kept and available at any time.
- Lead and support Production troubleshooting problems in the lines.
- Review reports, test results and documents generated by Quality Inspectors.
- Lead formulation trials and keep records of all mandatory document related to trials.
- Maintain Formulations in compliance with listing agencies.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, investigate, and take corrective action, make recommendations on preventative measures, and document findings.
- Provide guidance and train employees on QA processes and standards.
- Able to collaborate with various internal departments to cooperatively meet the company's Quality Control goals.
- Ability to read and understand QC forms and production standards. Use measuring tools such as micrometers, OD tapes, and tape measures.
- Leading decision about non-conforming parts, approving rework and scrap.
What you'll bring:
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a standard level of accuracy & organization.
- Ability to interpret complex construction plans and specifications.
- Knowledgeable with the NSF standards and certifications.
- Metrology knowledge
- Must have good proficiency in MS Office products including Word and Excel
- Strong ability to multitask, and work independently under pressure, and within tight deadlines.
- 5+ Years of previous experience in QA
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
- Must be adaptable to changes.
- Quality experiences mandatory.
- Previous Leadership experience strongly preferred.
