Position Summary: The Full-Time Real Property Technician will be responsible for administrative work associated with right of way projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities



  • Preparation of Offer Packages for Negotiations with property owners
  • Preparation of Closing Packages for to be used for parcel closings
  • Assist with the preparation of ROW Cost Estimates
  • Assist with preparation of Appraisals
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and contract documents
  • Conduct property title checkdowns


Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities



  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related Real Estate Experience


Qualifications Preferred



  • Familiarity with titles, parcel negotiation and closing documents/legal descriptions
  • Problem solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
  • Real Estates Sales license and/or Appraiser License
  • BS or BA college degree


Working Conditions

Some work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Significant field work (50% or more) is required where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
