Job Summary:

The Access to Care Director leads all functions related to client access, intake, referral management, and service navigation across the behavioral health continuum. This role ensures that individuals seeking care experience timely, equitable, and clinically appropriate entry into services. The Director oversees operational workflows, supervises multidisciplinary teams, manages capacity and ensures compliance with state, county, and payer requirements. The position plays a key role in driving organizational strategy around access, engagement, and service utilization.

This individual inspires others to connect clients with all PLC programs they meet eligibility for, at their location. The role is responsible for the Intake Departments across Behavioral Health programs and PLC locations. This position requires an innovative and strategic thinker to support cross program goals through seamless service entry and maximizing PLC program participation by members entering care. This individual must be skilled in implementation and working within various platforms and technology systems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a master's degree in the behavioral sciences field.
  • License - one of the following: Ph.D., Psy.D., LCSW, or LMFT, LPCC.
  • 2 years post license clinical experience.
  • Experience working with individuals across the life span; experience in treatment of substance use desired.
  • Completed coursework on Clinical Supervision of ASWs, AMFTs and APCCs to meet the 15-hour BBS mandated training requirement (from an approved BBS provider).
  • Valid California driver's license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Position Location: North Hills, CA (travel required to all sites, including Lancaster and Commerce).

Salary Range: $105,000 - $127,360 per year (based on years of experience supervising staff at the supervisor level or higher).

Flexible schedules are available upon successful completion of introductory period.

Eligible employees may request up to 5 days of Paid Time Off to study for their licensure.
