The FBO Financial Consultant participates in a variety of financial analysis projects or functions including budget preparation, variance analysis, business operational metric reporting, net present values, cash flow analysis, forecasting, and operating expenseand financial results reporting and analysis. Gather and review data, update financial and business operationsmodels and applications, analyze and report results. Performs advanced level financial analysis functions which may include advanced financial modeling, project leadership, net present values, cash flow analysis, operating expense and financial results analysis, businessoperations planning and tracking, and benchmarking assistance on more complex business units. Develop or directthe development of gathering and reviewing data, updating financial and business operations models andapplications, analyze and report results. Undertakes complex financial and operational decision support andbusiness unit planning projects. Minimum Requirements

Major Accountabilities
1.Function as an internal management consultant by building advanced financial models and deliveringpresentations with decision-worthy recommendations to leadership 2.Undertakes complex financial and operational decision support and business unit planning projects. 3.Consult with business units in the utilization and prioritization of O&M or Capital budgets, current work plans andlong-range forecasts typically involving high impact business issues. 4.May support the monthly accounting close process on an ad-hoc basis by performing accruals and varianceanalysis, and preparation of variance explanations and communication to management. Ensure financial eventsand transactions are reported to Accounting for proper financial statement recording and accounting treatment. 5.Compile relevant data, perform variance analyses on an enterprise-wide basis, update business operations models and reports supporting the execution of business planning and initiative tracking, gap analysis, metricsdevelopment, tracking and benchmarking, and portfolio management. 6.Collaborate with department staff and business units in the evaluation of operational and financial businessscenarios by utilization of corporate financial and business operations models. Develop ad hoc models to supportunique scenarios or limited scope analysis with the various work streams O&M, Capital, or Business Planning.Provide direction or support in the formulation of model inputs and processing of data through financial andoperations models. 7.Consult with department leadership and business management in identifying, recommending, and developingtactical and strategic business case opportunities. 8. Review and ensure that initiatives to be included in the business plans are strategically aligned withbenchmarking, budgeting and business planning processes. 9. Review and ensure that documentation to support initiative implementation is accurate and complete. Providerecommendations to ensure effective implementation. 10.May complete and submit of required external reporting and filings including ACC discovery requests 11.Maintain advanced knowledge and understanding of all department workstreams - capital, O&M, and business planning processes. 12.Drive continuous improvement/process improvement through organization, business customer organizations andincorporate principles and practices into business unit partnerships. 13.Provides training and support to business customers to ensure understanding of new or existing processes;develops and provides comprehensive training to others within department. 14.Provide guidance and support to other team members to enhance development and productivity. Serves assubject matter expert within team as well as across the department and mentors other junior team members. Export Compliance / EEO Statement

Hybrid:Employees in hybrid roles work both in their home offices (virtually) and alongside their colleagues (in person). In order for employees to build strong relationships and to promote meaningful in-person interactions, hybrid employees are expected to work about 40% of their time in-person at an APS or other (non-home office) location.
