Sales Operation Specialist

Location: Mt. Sterling, IL or Chesterfield, MO

Reports To: Director of Customized Services

Salary Grade: $54,275 - $81,413 annually, plus bonus opportunity

This position is responsible for helping grow our Customized Services business by forming new supplier sample programs, growing revenue with existing programs and supporting our team of Customized Fulfillment Managers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage our small and medium sized supplier sample account by growing their existing business and assisting them with their sampling needs
• Work in conjunction with outside sales to launch new, small and medium sized supplier opportunities
• Assist in completing broker matchup reviews and work in conjunction with Broker Development Rep to onboard new accounts
• Execute trade show match ups for outside sales as well as communicating post show auto ship sample lead process
• Help lead process improvement projects to improve overall supplier sample experience
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
• Presentations to small and large groups on the features and benefits of Dot Foods programs

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or general equivalency degree
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Superior follow up skills

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong analytical skills
• Comfort with technology
• Great teamwork/collaborative skills

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Schedule - Monday - Friday
• Travel - Occasional overnight travel to company meetings or events. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
