About the opportunity
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple Human Resources disciplines while supporting the Americas HR team at QIAGEN. The Human Resources Intern partners closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise, contributing to both daily HR operations and selected strategic initiatives. The role provides exposure to Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and HR Programs and People Operations within a global organization, making it an excellent starting point for a career in Human Resources.
This is a 6-month internship and open to part-time or full-time.
Your tasks include
  • Supporting HR Business Partners with daily activities and ad-hoc projects
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition activities, including sourcing and employer branding initiatives
  • Contributing to learning and development initiatives and training preparation
  • Supporting benefits, wellbeing, and wellness-related initiatives
  • Assisting with employee engagement activities and HR programs
  • Maintaining accurate HR documentation while handling confidential information responsibly
Your profile
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in Human Resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Initial understanding of HR concepts or practices is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities independently while working collaboratively in a team
The estimated hourly range for this position is $18-$22. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
