Job Title: Practice Coordinator Location(s): San Francisco, CA Job Summary: Seeking a Practice Coordinator to support a high-volume Hematology, Blood & Marrow Transplant, and Cellular Therapy clinic. This is a fully patient-facing role requiring strong customer service skills, reliable onsite attendance, and the ability to manage both front desk operations and incoming patient communications in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and route incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate clinic calendars.
- Perform front desk and administrative support duties.
- Assist patients with check-in, registration, and general inquiries.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Support daily clinic operations in a high-volume setting.
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Professional demeanor and dependable onsite attendance.
- Comfortable handling high call volumes and patient interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic/APeX preferred.
- Prior experience in patient-facing or front desk healthcare roles is highly desirable.
Additional Information:
- Approximately 300 patients seen in clinic per day.
- Strong preference for candidates with APeX training/experience.
- Candidates without APeX experience may still be considered based on overall skill set and customer service background.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- No Weekends.
