Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supply Distribution Associate - NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine clerical duties such as handling incoming messages, establishing and maintaining files, preparing routine correspondence, administering certain standardized projects, and completing duties as assigned. Processes all fax and phone orders for supplies including priority orders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains necessary lists and records. Files delivery documents, packing slips and daily reports. Keeps on-going list of requisitions processed.
- Responsible for greeting visitors and promptly takes care of requests. Takes incoming phone and fax messages and relays to the appropriate person. Distributes incoming mail.
- Responds to issues that may cause problems andor refers issues through proper chain of command using escalation policy. Documents legibly. Utilizes appropriate communication in all interactions.
- Participates in activities contributing to growth and development of self and colleagues. Routinely supports coworkers in accomplishment of daily activities and tasks necessary for meeting customer s needs. Assists team members as directed. Participates in the orientation of new employees as needed.
- Receives inventory into the HBOC materials management system and runs routine reports. Adjusts inventory when necessary. Generates manual and automated replenishment when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School or GED. 1 - 2 years Health care or materials management. Good communication (both oral and written), organization, detail oriented, customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel. Proficiency and accuracy in calculating inventory.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $41,473.44 - $61,771.50 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
