Requisition ID req36741 Working Title Overnight Student Safety & Operations Coordinator Position Grade 08 Position Summary Under the leadership of the Executive Director of Residence Life and Student Housing at the University of New Mexico and the supervision of the Senior Marketing Representative, the Overnight Student Safety & Operations Coordinator is a professional who supports students within Residence Life and Student Housing (RLSH).
The Overnight Student Safety & Operations Coordinator serves as the primary contact for residence hall safety, student support, and operational continuity during overnight hours. This role provides real-time supervision of student staff, ensures compliance with departmental protocols, and supports incident response, facilities coordination, and administrative operations.
This overnight position primarily includes late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts within the main residential communities on campus, with one consistent weekly shift at the Lobo Rainforest Building. The coordinator also helps connect overnight operations with daytime staff through clear communication, consistent policy enforcement, and proactive identification of trends affecting student safety and residential communities.
The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and committed to student development, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and foster an inclusive, engaging residential experience within a Hispanic-Serving Institution.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
