Overview
Microsoft's Energy, Connectivity, and Sustainability (ECS) organization within Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) supports the company's environmental sustainability agenda through governance, market development, and enabling infrastructure required for long-term business growth. As AI and cloud infrastructure continue to scale globally, customers are increasingly seeking clarity on the environmental impacts associated with digital infrastructure-including energy use, water consumption, and lifecycle emissions. These topics are becoming a regularcomponentof enterprise customer conversations and procurement decision-making. The Sustainability Commercial Enablement Manager will sit within CELA ECS and support Microsoft's commercial functions by helping translate Microsoft's sustainability commitments and progress into business-relevant narratives that can be used in customer engagements. This role will contribute to internal readiness by supporting field teams in addressing customer questions related to the resource intensity of AI and cloud technologies and the environmental impacts associated with digital infrastructure growth. Corporate Social Responsibility IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $132,200 - $258,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,800 - $278,900 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
