SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

The Treasury Management Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the Treasury Management Sales Officers as a product expert and consultative business partner. Is responsible for product support of the organization's most complex treasury product offerings serving as the subject matter expert both internally and externally. The Treasury Management Product Specialist will identify, build and lead strategic discussions with client's IT, A/P and A/R departments Treasury teams on their key areas of interest. The Treasury Management Product Specialist is also responsible for helping structure holistic solutions for clients ranging from accounts / liquidity structures, Payables and Receivables optimization, systems and connectivity, bank relationship management, working capital and centralization strategies.

The individual must have a broad and in-depth knowledge of the various payments, receipts, and reporting services as well as data transmission protocols in order to adequately consult with clients, explain the options available to them and gather their requirements for implementing those services.

The Treasury Management Product Specialist will work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine business requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives, and existing systems infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Guides the Treasury Management Sales Officers to provide thought leadership and actively engage with clients in needs-based discovery consultations and the deployment of complex Treasury Management solutions to answer those needs, specifically for Lockbox, Cash Vault and P Card services.
  • Directs new Lockbox client implementations and ongoing support.
  • Identify new lockbox client opportunities and which would provide additional revenue.
  • Manages the Lockbox billing and invoicing.
  • Spearheads training of Lockbox services both internally and externally. Is responsible for modifying the training to best fit the client's needs.
  • Reviews, identifies and processes any necessary Lockbox adjustments for clients.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with our Lockbox providers and keeps the team aware of any issues, upcoming enhancements, or new product development. Develops training as needed. Also creates client communication if required
  • Guides clients and team members with new Cash Vault implementations process.
  • Works independently to complete custom cash vault set ups.
  • Responsible for supporting cash vault clients with questions or maintenance requests.
  • Produce and distribute quarterly P Card Performance report.
  • Facilitate and attend P Card sales calls as appropriate.
  • Works with bank approved courier service provider.
  • Onboards client with set up of the courier service.
  • Creates the monthly courier report and branch billing.
  • Makes impactful contributions to the team by independently identifying new opportunities or solutions, which builds trust withing the team and creates client confidence.
  • Responsible for partnering with Sales and Bankers to identify opportunities across the region to help drive revenue opportunities through product and services sales. Solicits feedback from bankers and clients to better understand product needs, including enhancements to existing Treasury Management products as well as new products.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination and communication between lines of business, product, and operational units.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related fields; or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred. CCM or CTP certification preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10 years banking experience; Five years' experience in product and/or project management; Demonstrated leadership experience with cross-functional teams; Experience writing business and product requirements.
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, procedures, and practices.; Extensive knowledge of bank operating systems and commercial banking practices.; Knowledge of product development, pricing, implementation, and strategic analysis.; Current knowledge of treasury/payment systems compliance requirements. Proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts; Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.; Excellent written/oral communications skills.; Ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.; Possess an excellent understanding of technology.

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is located in a private office.

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
