What does a Marketing & Portfolio Manager do?

The Marketing & Portfolio Manager supports the execution of regional marketing and portfolio strategies that drive profitable growth across Sealed Air's Protective Packaging businesses in EMEA. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, Portfolio, and Sustainability EMEA, this role blends strategic thinking with handson execution.


You will manage portfolio and product lifecycle activities, support gotomarket initiatives, and provide market and customer insights to guide commercial decisions. Working closely with Sales, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and Commercial Excellence teams, you will help bring innovative, customerfocused, and sustainable packaging solutions to market in a fastpaced, international environment.

We need a commercially minded marketer who can help translate strategy into action and support profitable growth across the EMEA portfolio. In this role, you will:



  • Support regional marketing and portfolio strategy execution, including portfolio planning, lifecycle management, and gotomarket activities
  • Provide market, customer, and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities and inform commercial decisions
  • Support pricing analysis, value communication, and management of the marketing mix
  • Enable sales teams through product knowledge, tools, presentations, and launch support
  • Coordinate crossfunctional initiatives with Sales, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sustainability teams
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives and customerfocused advocacy aligned with regional priorities


You bring strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, product management, portfolio management, or commercial roles, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience working across multiple product lines or categories preferred
  • Exposure to pricing, portfolio management, product launches, or commercial support activities
  • Proven ability to collaborate crossfunctionally with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, or Marketing teams
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, market analysis tools, or business reporting tools is an advantage
  • Packaging or industrial manufacturing experience preferred but not essential
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required
