Job Description




As a Security Officer Highrise Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a dynamic retail location, serving as a welcoming presence for visitors, tenants, and staff. In this role, you will help support security-related operations through strong communication, access monitoring, and customer service. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support at a retail location.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify credentials as required, and document visitor and/or vendor arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining logs, completing reports, answering phones, and sharing information on site policies, directions, and visitor expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
