Job Summary
This role is responsible for preparing and processing financial information, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supplemental reporting, as well as performing analytics on the financial data. In addition to the traditional accounting duties, this position requires a keen analytical mindset to help drive efficiency improvements.
Essential Functions
- Prepare standard monthly journal entries, consistent with GAAP requirements.
- Maintain financial records for multiple business entities.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts, to include analysis of accounts for accuracy and reasonableness, and timely follow up and coordination for resolution of any issues.
- Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and implement new automation/efficiency opportunities to streamline accounting functions Prepare supplemental reporting and analytics, as needed.

- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions with established policies, procedures, and guidelines with accuracy and consistency.
- Perform cross-functional tasks & objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for executive management.
- Assist with policy and procedure documentation and maintenance.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting position required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting position required.
- Experience with Epicor is a plus.
- Experience with Fixed Assets is a plus.
- Prior experience in a large manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
