Job Description:
This job will provide basic technical support to develop, design and/or support internal R&D functions. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to gain valuable experience while working in a multidisciplinary, world class technology-based organization to help advance state-of-the-art R&D in agricultural sciences.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Will work with a senior scientist, under moderate supervision, executing experiments and delivering data.
*Attention to detail and completeness of work is required.
*Will assist with protocol development, experiment planning and report generation.
*May be called upon to support plant care in a greenhouse setting.
*May be asked to commute to several different worksites in the St. Louis area.
*Should expect to work with Team in field experiments outside of St. Louis area.
*Field and greenhouse work includes working with plants, collecting and disposing of specimens in a safe and prescribed manner.
*Overnight travel up to 5% of time.

Qualification:
*A bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Biology, Botany
*Experience with an emphasis in Agriculture, Plant Biology, Botany or a related area is a strong plus.
*Work with Team in field experiments outside of St. Louis area
*Experience in biological research, and will assist with protocol development, experiment planning, data analysis, and report generation
