Job Description

The Asset Management Manager develops, leading, and optimizing the asset management strategy to ensure maximum equipment reliability, lifecycle performance, and cost efficiency. You will drive maintenance excellence, capital planning, and data-driven decision-making across all production and support assets. You will report to the Manager, Field Service and work onsite in Vance, Alabama

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy aligned with our goals
  • Establish lifecycle plans for all critical equipment, including acquisition, maintenance, replacement, and disposal
  • Implement best practices such as Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling, and reliability-centered maintenance
  • Oversee CMMS/EAM systems to ensure accurate asset data, reporting, and system utilization
  • Prioritize capital investments using ROI, risk, and operational impact analysis
  • Maintain and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
  • Collaborate with teams and use data analytics to guide informed decision-making and performance improvements
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Experience in manufacturing, development, reliability or other relevant fields, complex project and strategic planning experience and experience with electromechanical, mechanical process and machines used in the automotive industry.
  • Leadership experience of 0-2 years
  • Enhanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to stand for at least an eight hour period and lift at least 40 pounds in weight without assistance from others.
