Keep Products Moving-Safely, Efficiently, and Ready for Delivery

As a Shipping Clerk II, you play a critical role in getting our finished products out the door and into the hands of customers across the country. From staging materials and building loads to maximizing trailer space and supporting shipping operations, your work helps keep production flowing and deliveries on schedule.

At Global Finishing Solutions (GFS), every shipment is different. You'll work hands-on with finished components, packaging materials, cranes, trucks, and shipping systems to ensure products are loaded safely, efficiently, and accurately.

What Success Looks Like

  • Find, pull, and stage job-specific crates, materials, and finished products using load lists and computerized systems.
  • Load flatbed trucks, trailers, and vans efficiently to maximize available truck space while protecting product quality.
  • Use packaging materials, methods, and equipment to support safe and effective shipping operations.
  • Operate pneumatic nail and spike guns according to established safety standards.
  • Utilize multiple saws including chop saws, radial arm saws, and yard saws to prepare shipping materials and crates.
  • Operate company trucks and trailers as needed to move products and materials between buildings.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve shipping flow, organization, and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate shipping processes while supporting GFS quality standards and safety expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure shipments are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications That Shine

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years of shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to measure, inspect, and verify work to quality standards.
  • Experience using computer systems such as IFS, SharePoint, and CrateTracker preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with a willingness to support others where needed.
  • Self-motivated mindset with a focus on safety, organization, and efficiency.+

Transparent Rewards At GFS, we recognize the dedication behind every role and ensure that our compensation reflects both your impact and our shared success.

Pay Range: $18.27 - $23.55 per hour, as applicable, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications.

Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual individual incentive based on company performance. Maximum bonus amounts may vary depending on role.

Actual compensation will be determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, skill level, and market conditions. For remote or hybrid positions, the listed pay range applies to applicants in the specified location.
