Description & Requirements
Our Organizational Resilience practice brings our global footprint, clients, industry expertise, and innovative solutions together to help global companies exceed their strategic objectives and needs. As a future Senior Consultant on our Organizational Resilience Team, we are looking for an established professional with experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, and/or Incident Management. A promising candidate should have a strong background helping clients and / or organizations build and sustain Organizational Resilience programs, including but not limited to conducting business impact analyses and risk assessments, developing continuity and recovery plans, implementing and / or managing technical disaster recovery solutions, and conducting applicable tests and exercises.
What You Will Do:
  • Demonstrate foundational expertise in organizational resilience frameworks, including business continuity planning, operational risk management, process optimization, and systems enablement
  • Conduct business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across critical processes and systems
  • Partner with IT disaster recovery teams to validate and reconcile business-defined recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) with technical recovery capabilities, identifying gaps, documenting risk exposure, and supporting prioritization of remediation efforts
  • Design and implement business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management strategies to enhance organizational resilience
  • Lead client engagements by managing project plans, overseeing internal teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, proactively identifying risks, resolving challenges, and ensuring alignment between business, IT, and leadership expectations
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate testing and exercise programs, including working sessions, tabletop exercises, and functional/technical simulations
  • Support end-to-end client engagements across the full project lifecycle, including assessment, design, implementation, and optimization phases
  • Translate assessment and BIA outputs into actionable insights for client leadership, supporting risk-based prioritization, resilience investment decisions, and operating model improvements
  • Contribute to firmwide initiatives focused on resilience strategy, risk mitigation, and operational improvement
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience aligning business continuity and disaster recovery requirements with enterprise IT environments
  • Ability to travel, when required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in consulting or professional services role is a plus
  • Relevant Certification (e.g., CBCP, CBCI, ISO)
  • Experience supporting resilience, continuity, or risk programs in regulated or highly complex environments (e.g., healthcare, higher education, energy, financial services)
  • Experience with business continuity or disaster recovery tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow BCM, Fusion, Archer), or designing structured BIA data models and reporting frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and translate complex resilience concepts into clear, executive-level insights and recommendations
  • Experience integrating business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident management into a unified resilience framework aligned to industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, FEMA ICS)

New York City Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
