Director, Integrated Planning & Demand Planning - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Director, Integrated Planning & Demand Planning for a direct-hire opportunity with a fast-growing Pet Health company located in Naperville, IL. This is a remote position with a preference for someone on the East Coast. Base pay range: $160,000 - $180,000 per year

As the Director of Integrated Planning, you will be a key leader in the S&OP/IBP process to align supply and demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve overall business performance. The ideal candidate will have strong demand planning skills, experience in supply planning, and a proven ability in building new processes from the ground up. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and ensure the successful execution of strategic plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of a monthly integrated cross-functional planning process
  • Lead Consensus demand forecast process, including reviewing with respective sales teams, maintaining robust Opps/Risk Schedules, and developing the consensus forecast
  • Lead the Sr. Supply Planner and oversee the supply planning process, establish KPIs, and ensure targets are met
  • Create executive-level presentations on complex business topics
  • Own and implement Vividly as the predominant forecasting tool including leading integration with various data sources and NetSuite
  • Create processes that seamlessly analyze and communicate forecasts between units and net sales
  • Collaborate with key retailers to help manage both company and customer inventory strategies
  • Analyze POS and other sales trends, promotional calendars, monitor SKU-level performance, and help build consensus forecast based on comprehensive analytics
  • Support new product launch analysis, monitoring weekly performance and making strategic decisions based on SKU trends
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Provide overall leadership on the Demand Plan & Supply Plan that drives the Planning process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Merchandising or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8 years of experience in S&OP, S&OE, demand planning, or related supply chain roles
  • Proven track record of building and improving S&OP/IBP processes in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
  • Expertise in forecasting models, scenario planning, and demand probability signals
  • Expertise of direct interaction with supply chain & demonstrated understanding of planning to supply process
  • Wholesale and/or retail experience with successful cross-functional partnership with sales leadership
  • Ability to scenario plan based on tangible and intangible data
  • Superior attention to detail with strength in strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Desired skills:

  • Certifications in demand and/or supply planning
  • Knowledge or experience in the Pet Health industry
  • Proficiency in Vividly Sales Forecasting tool
  • Experience with planning and analytical tools such as SAP, JDA, NetSuite, Anaplan, Tableau or SPS
