The Assistant Manager - Access oversees daily access and scheduling operations to improve patient access and enhance referring provider, clinician, and patient satisfaction across the Health System. This role ensures the team meets performance standards related to scheduling accuracy, patient access, referral management, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, medical records collection, and demographic/financial data capture. Key responsibilities include:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required.Associate's Degree Preferred. Experience: 3 years relevant experience Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: computer keyboard activity. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs.
