As a Security Officer Site Screener in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and employees, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific policies, screening procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points and perform screening activities for people, bags, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols for a technology-focused environment.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support access control functions by verifying credentials, directing approved visitors, and helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or sensitive areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for security-related issues, facility concerns, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
