Senior Director, Pasha Logistics Washington - Lead Multi-Site Freight Operations, Business Growth & Strategic Performance at The Pasha Group

Join The Pasha Group as Senior Director, Pasha Logistics Washington, where you will lead multi-location freight, transload, warehouse, and transportation operations across a strategically important logistics function.

This high-impact leadership role is responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, safety, labor relations, and business development across multiple sites. You will lead through management teams, build strong customer and carrier partnerships, oversee budgets and P&L performance, and help shape long-term logistics strategies that support enterprise growth.

Lead Strategic Logistics Operations & Business Performance

Drive operational, financial, and strategic results across a geographically dispersed logistics network.

  • Lead Multi-Site Operations: Provide leadership and direction across freight, transload, warehouse, and multi-modal logistics operations.
  • Execute Long-Term Plans: Develop and implement multi-year operational and financial plans aligned with enterprise strategies and business objectives.
  • Manage Financial Performance: Oversee site-level P&L results, budgets, forecasts, and performance targets while identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, service quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Establish Performance Accountability: Develop and manage KPIs that measure operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and business growth.

Drive Business Development, Customer Partnerships & Market Growth

Build strong commercial relationships and identify growth opportunities that strengthen Pasha Logistics Washington's market position.

  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with customers, carriers, labor leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Expand Business Opportunities: Identify new business, partnership, and service expansion opportunities that support long-term growth.
  • Strengthen Customer Experience: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service issues quickly and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive activity to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver Executive Insights: Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement priorities.

Champion Safety, Labor Relations & Continuous Improvement

Create a safe, accountable, and collaborative operating environment across all locations.

  • Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, environmental requirements, and risk-management practices.
  • Lead Labor Relations: Oversee union engagement, labor relationships, and compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Advance Lean Practices: Implement lean principles, technology solutions, and continuous improvement methods to streamline processes and reduce costs.
  • Resolve Operational Challenges: Use data, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to address operational issues and improve service delivery.
  • Build a Culture of Accountability: Champion teamwork, ownership, collaboration, learning, and performance excellence throughout the organization.

Develop High-Performing Teams & Future Leaders

Lead through management teams while strengthening talent, capability, and succession across the operation.

  • Lead Through Leaders: Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to management teams responsible for multi-site operations.
  • Develop Talent: Oversee workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, and frontline team capability growth.

What You Bring

You combine strong logistics operations expertise with financial acumen, commercial leadership, and the ability to lead complex, multi-site teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of coursework and directly related experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in the shipping, logistics, or transportation industry
  • 6+ years of management experience with direct responsibility for teams and budgets
  • Experience in business development, customer relationship management, or commercial strategy preferred
  • Strong operational knowledge of freight, transload, warehouse, and multi-modal logistics processes
  • Proven ability to build commercial relationships and execute business development strategies
  • Advanced financial acumen, including multi-year budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
  • Experience with labor relations, union engagement, Collective Bargaining Agreements, and compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, DOT compliance, environmental standards, and risk-management practices
  • Ability to implement lean principles, technology solutions, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

This role operates in a corporate office environment and requires regular use of office equipment, communication tools, and computer systems.

Travel

Up to 25% travel is required. The successful candidate must be able to travel independently to U.S. locations, including Hawaii.

Compensation & Incentive Opportunity

The salary range listed is based on the geographic zone associated with this role: TACOMA, WA. If you are applying to work from a different location, the salary range may vary to align with the cost of labor and market conditions in that area. For applicants from other zones, we encourage you to reach out to us to confirm the relevant salary range for your specific location. Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.

Zone 2: Starting rate $215,000; up to $250,000 for highly qualified candidates

This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.

Annual Incentive Opportunity: 25% of eligible compensation
