The Senior Leader, Sales Compensation plays a critical role in enabling scalable, accurate, and data-driven incentive programs that support global revenue growth and operational excellence. This role drives the design and execution of variable compensation programs across multiple regions and aligns compensation strategy with business performance and go-to-market priorities. Operating within a complex multinational environment, this role supports 800+ commission-eligible employees globally across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, spanning direct sales, channel, services, and renewals compensation models. The role partners closely with Finance, Sales, HR, Legal, and IT, and works in close alignment with FP&A leadership to deliver transparency, governance, and strategic impact. Pay Range: The annual pay range for this position is CAD $ 140,000 - $180,000. The annual pay range for this position in US is USD $ 160,000 - $210,000 #LI-SG Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
