Auria is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to support the C2BMC program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO. As a DevOps Cloud engineer on the C2BMC-Global team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: * Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts with tools such as Ansible or Terraform * Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for process and automation improvements * Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a range of technologies, including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell * Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are defect-free * Must be a detail-oriented individual who can track the impact of events and actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: * A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree * Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period * Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start * Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix * Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration * Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible * Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab * Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes * Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible * Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform * Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory * Experience working on a Scrum team in an Agile environment WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: * Scrum Master experience and certification are a plus PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $130,000 - $145,000 APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 5, 2026 THE AURIA TEAM: Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
