Upholstery Leadin GAC Appleton Unique Skills: First Shift (Monday - Thursday, 4-10's) This position is for 1st shift Upholstery team. Experience with leather work, gluing, sewing, patterning, and sanding will be necessary. Let your career take flight Our aircraft are industry leaders and so are our people. Mechanical background, mechanic (automotive, small engine, powersports, diesel), welding, woodworking, cabinet building, and/or finish carpentry experience is preferred but not required. High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years experience in upholstery to include 2 years aircraft upholstery experience. Advanced knowledge of upholstery and sewing processes and products and/or advance carpet knowledge including being able to install custom carpets.
Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, leads the day to day activities of a Final Phase Trim shop. Plans and schedules workloads, ensuring manpower and material come together supporting workflow targets. Assists service center in the spirit of the one team concept. Supports Gulfstream management in all of the company's goals and policies. Complies with all duties and responsibilities set forth in the repair station inspection manual and the standard operating procedures manual. Job Description
