With over 4,000 colleagues across more than 55 countries, you'll join a diverse, high-performing community, empowered to deliver sustainable, innovative solutions for our clients.

Purpose of the Job

HH Global is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Creative Technologist to build, maintain, and scale our next-generation, AI-driven creative infrastructure. This role is embedded within a high-performance "Creative Production Hub", sitting at the intersection of creative design, workflow automation, and machine learning/engineering. You will empower our design, marketing, and product teams to operate with unprecedented speed and consistency.

You will act as the technical backbone of our creative studio-designing automated pipelines, integrating modern generative AI APIs and toolchains, keeping our infrastructure ahead of industry trends, and providing rapid troubleshooting and maintenance when technical bottlenecks arise.

The ideal candidate is a versatile expert who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about integrating AI tools to drive efficiency and creative innovation. You will bridge the gap between creative concepts and technical execution, ensuring brand consistency while scaling production across diverse digital and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Pipeline Development

  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust, scalable technical infrastructure that integrates AI models and automation into day-to-day design, video, and creative workflows.

  • Build custom integrations, plugins, or webhooks connecting creative toolkits (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender) with AI APIs and internal asset management systems (DAMs).

  • Architect automated asset-generation, localization, and formatting pipelines to support high-velocity multi-channel campaigns.

2. Technology Evaluation & Evolution

  • Continually monitor, benchmark, and evaluate emerging generative AI models (image, video, 3D, audio, multimodal) and tooling (e.g., ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, Runway, Midjourney API, OpenAI/Gemini/Anthropic models).

  • Proactively evolve internal systems, upgrading legacy design workflows to incorporate modern tech options that increase operational throughput and creative headroom.

  • Partner closely with Creative, Brand, and Product leadership to translate creative needs into scalable engineering and infrastructure roadmaps.

3. Systems Reliability & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for diagnosing, triaging, and resolving pipeline breaks, API rate limits, latency issues, and integration failures.

  • Monitor infrastructure performance, uptime, API costs, and resource allocation to ensure cost-efficient scaling.

  • Develop automated testing and fallback protocols to prevent creative workflow disruptions.

4. Governance, Enablement & Documentation

  • Establish technical standards and documentation for workflows, custom tooling, and prompt/workflow libraries.

  • Conduct enablement sessions and train creative team members on how to interface with and leverage new automated systems.

  • Ensure infrastructure complies with corporate data privacy, IP governance, security, and ethical AI usage guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves:

Experience: 5+ years in a technical role bridging technology and design (e.g., Creative Technologist, Technical Artist, Systems Engineer, Workflow/Pipeline Engineer, or DevOps/Automation Engineer in a creative agency or studio setting).

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Bash).

  • Hands-on experience integrating and fine-tuning AI workflows (e.g., Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, Hugging Face, REST APIs for multimodal LLMs).

  • Experience with creative tool ecosystem APIs and plugin development (Figma Plugin API, Adobe CEP/UXP, Blender Python API, or similar).

Infrastructure & Cloud:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker), and serverless architectures/microservices.

  • Experience handling large-scale digital asset pipelines or Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.

  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to debug complex integrations, trace latency/pipeline failures, and design fault-tolerant systems.

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical designers, art directors, and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience training or fine-tuning models (e.g., LoRAs, ControlNet) to align with strict brand identity guidelines.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing for creative assets.

  • Background in visual arts, graphic design, motion design, or UI/UX design.

For New York and California applicants: The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,00 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
