What to Expect

The Integration Platforms team develops technology to support our ever-expanding customer fleet from prototype to production. We are at an inflection point - adopting an AI-first strategy to fundamentally transform how our tools are built, maintained, and scaled. A member of this team will build AI-powered technology that interfaces with ourdevices and accelerates engineering workflows across the organization, includingVehicle,Optimus,Autopilotand Energy software.

You'llwork on tools including our centralized AI platform that enables engineers across the organization to contribute to the developer experience, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that connect these tools to AI-powered workflows. We've built capabilities that let engineers dynamically query the fleet for real-time answers to questions like "show me a random sample of 100 cars currently driving at least 60 MPH with the windows down and the AC on," and systems to live stream data off any vehicle, anytime, anywhere in the world. You will contribute to AI agents that automate the software release cycle, triage driver feedback, and detect fleet anomalies. This is only a small part of what the team builds, andyou'dhelp shape what comes next.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the design and development of AI agents to automate engineering workflows and orchestrate them from prototype through production
  • Own end-to-end delivery of full-stack tools: drive front-end UI/UX, back-end frameworks and APIs, and the data and caching architecture that supports real-time querying and streaming across an ever-expanding fleet
  • Shape overall system architecture, including the interfaces between subsystems, and make the technical tradeoffs that let our systems scale
  • Drive the evolution of our AI platform and MCP servers so engineers across the organization can build and contribute to tooling through AI-assisted development
  • Own the fulllifecycle and set technical directionspanningDevOps,product security, and validation ofoursoftware while partnering cross-functionally toidentifyworkflow bottlenecks

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability
  • Proficient in Go and Python, with hands-on experience building full-stack applications using web frameworks
  • Experience with backend infrastructure: relational databases, containerization, workflow orchestration, and stream processing/messaging systems
  • Experience or strong interest in building LLM-powered applications, with understanding of AI agent architectures and tool-use patterns such as MCP/ACP
  • Preferred exposure to large-scale data processing/querying and analytics
  • Strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple concurrent projects
