Veterinarian

Veterinarian: Homestead Veterinary Services Inc. a Roundup, MT based veterinary clinic is seeking a veterinarian. Responsibilities include: Family pets such as cats and/or dogs. Job duties to include: advise animal owners regarding sanitary measures, feeding, general care, medical conditions, or treatment options. Counsel clients about the deaths of their pets, or about euthanasia decisions for their pets, Small ruminant animal (which includes sheep, goats, deer, llamas, and alpacas) job duties will include flock inspection, caesareans, general health exams, routine spays and neuters, vaccinations, exam, lacerations repair and dentals. Equine job duties will include lameness exams, castrations, prepurchase exams, colic exams, dentals, laceration repairs and general health exams. Bovine job duties will include herd health exams, pregnancy testing to include pregnancy diagnosis with both manual palpation and ultrasound, aging bovine pregnancies and sexing, semen testing, castration, and spaying heifers. Supervises 3 technicians and 5 office staff. Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (DVM or VMD) Degree from an accredited veterinary school. Must be licensed or presently eligible for licensure in the state of Montana. Five (5) years of experience with job duties. Respondents must be presently eligible for permanent employment in the United States.
