Job Description




As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Tamaqua, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help verify that only authorized persons, vehicles, and/or deliveries are entering designated areas in accordance with location policies.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant information to help support emergency response and ongoing site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
