CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to join our Bridge Team in Atlanta (Midtown), GA, where you'll support the planning, analysis, and delivery of bridge and structural projects. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and rehabilitation of critical infrastructure, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help ensure technical excellence across each phase of project development-advancing resilient transportation networks that serve communities for years to come.

What You'll Do:

    Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for bridge projects
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
  • Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
  • Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
  • Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required in bridge design
  • Prior experience with GDOT projects required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley software and GDOT in-house software
  • Experience with interdisciplinary coordination with geotechnical, hydraulics, and environmental teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual, team-oriented environment
  • Experience mentoring junior staff and delegating work to support project delivery
  • Proven management experience developing scopes of work, forecasting effort, and maintaining client communication
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $120,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
