The Operations Enablement Partner sits within Strategic Development out of corporate office in Lenexa, KS and maintains a close working relationship with the EVP and COO. The role is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.


This is not a passive support role. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicates with clarity, and operates with a high level of ownership and discretion. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring alignment, follow-through, and execution across operations by managing communications, tracking commitments, and supporting leadership readiness.


Key Responsibilities


Meeting Notes & Action Tracking



  • Attend OLT, EOLT, and key operations meetings to capture decisions, action items, and commitments in real time.
  • Distribute organized meeting recaps within 24 hours.
  • Own and manage the action item log, ensuring consistent follow-up and closure.
  • Escalate stalled or at-risk items as needed.


Technical Writing & Communications



  • Draft, edit, and maintain operational communications including memos, recaps, executive summaries, and process documentation.
  • Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with operational priorities.


Monday.com Management



  • Build, maintain, and optimize Monday.com boards for operations initiatives.
  • Ensure accuracy, structure, and adoption across teams.
  • Keep all boards current and actionable.


Agenda & Deliverable Coordination



  • Develop agendas for recurring and ad hoc leadership meetings.
  • Consolidate inputs and deliverables from multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensure pre-read materials are prepared and distributed in advance.

Operations Messaging & Internal Communications



  • Coordinate internal operations updates, including field communications, initiative progress, and leadership messaging.
  • Partner with Marketing and cross-functional teams to align communications with business priorities.


Executive Support



  • Prepare briefing materials, data summaries, and talking points for the EVP and COO.
  • Provide context and operational insights ahead of key meetings, presentations, and field visits.


Execution & Organizational Alignment



  • Identify gaps between leadership decisions and execution.
  • Track initiative progress and flag risks or blockers.
  • Maintain visibility into operational priorities and overall initiative status.
  • Coordinate with IT, Marketing, and other departments on key initiatives and communications.


Basic Qualifications



  • 3-6 years in operations support, communications, project coordination, or executive support roles.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Background in construction, specialty contracting, or field-based operations preferred.


Skills & Competencies



  • Exceptional written communication skills, clear, concise, and professional.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

  • All meetings include clear agendas and pre-read materials.
  • Improved leadership efficiency through strong preparation and follow-through.
