Summary of Objective: The D&M Business Development Executive will work closely with the Director of Business Development in New England to drive sales and revenue for PCI's D&M business. In addition, this role will support reaching PCI's quarterly and long-term goals by collaborating with new and existing clients to increase D&M sales in New England. This position is focused on sterile fill finish for Oncology, biologics (antibodies, fusion proteins, replacement enzymes) and Other (peptides, oligonucleotides, mRNA). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. 1. Identify and reach out in designated regions to new clients that would be a good fit for PCI's service offerings through email and telephone calls. Communicate with Team members about potential trends and market movement. 2. Update database information with new business opportunities, client data, and communications of all forms 3. Maintain and expand working relationships with existing clients and internal teams to expand sales and ensure client satisfaction. 4. Develop additional business with existing clients through selling additional upstream and downstream services and strategically plan and execute maximized pricing guidance. 5. Collaborate with global proposals team for sales opportunities 6. Negotiate final pricing and terms within stated parameters. 7. Host JSC's in person or virtually as well as working collaboratively with PM for BRM's that may be onsite at our D&M facilities. 8. Must be able to travel to attend and participate in sales meetings, JSC, BRM's, conventions, and tradeshows as directed as well as client facilities to drive new opportunities. 9. Partner with BD colleagues in other segments to drive cross-selling opportunities 10. Work directly with Quality and Operations to develop and continually improve industry knowledge; share knowledge with BD team during monthly meetings. 11. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. 12. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. 13. - Previous experience negotiating pricing, contracts, confidentiality agreements; supply agreements, consignment agreements a plus. - Intelligent, creative, self-starter with an open mind - Team player with excellent communication, language, and social skills. - Self-motivated, creative, and results oriented with the ability to deliver high quality deliverables on time - Focused with attention to detail Preferred:
