DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and orderly facilities and grounds at PSP Academy buildings and surrounding areas. The work supports daily operations by providing well-kept spaces that allow staff to perform their duties effectively. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and wax floors throughout the building
- Restroom Cleaning: Clean and restock restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, and showers
- Waste Removal: Empty trash and recycling containers and place materials in outdoor receptacles
- Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, dust surfaces, and replace light bulbs as needed
- Outdoor Upkeep: Clear walkways of snow and debris and maintain clean outdoor areas
- Equipment Handling: Store and care for custodial supplies, tools, and equipment

- Full-time employment. 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
- Works the 1st weekend of Cadet Class Arrivals
- Flex schedule - not core hours
- Free Parking
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306.00 (before taxes).
