SUMMARY
Responsible for working closely with all stakeholders to manage various, large-scale Belonging & Engagement (B&E) projects and provide progress reports at a regular cadence to the B&E team leaders. Responsible for managing Alliant's employee resource groups (ERGs), and key objectives are to support the B&E team in scaling their companywide initiatives to increase the magnitude of meaningful impact across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Takes the lead in managing all aspects of assigned B&E projects, coordinates workflow, and keeps track of progress; projects include working across departments on the companywide peer coaching, mentorship, sponsorship, and fellowship programs.
Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner; allocates assignments and enlists the support of the B&E team to assist with the completion of assigned projects as needed.
Oversees all ERG leadership calls, leading the forums and reporting back on any insights to the B&E team leaders.
Is the first point of contact for all B&E vendor vetting calls; works with team members to distill vendor notes and make alignment recommendations for sign off.
Has enough B&E fluency to handle preliminary B&E conversations with clients, engage in the intake process, and turn it over to the B&E team leaders to move forward.
Supports the B&E team leaders with their presentations and thought leadership on a more substantive level, summarizing miscellaneous B&E reports/documents and proofreading when requested.
Assists with the preparation of materials for important client or internal meetings, working with B&E team members to ensure that deadlines are met.
Deals with complex B&E questions on the phone, by email, or in person, looping in the B&E team leaders where needed.
Responds independently to general correspondence of a routine nature with minimal supervision.
Prepares project proposal drafts for the review of the B&E team leaders before any launches.
Monitors B&E data reports, always maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
One (1) or more years of related project management experience
One (1) or more years of Belonging and Engagement experience
Experience and general knowledge of the insurance industry
SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects, deadlines, and owners
Ability and motivation to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools a plus
