Corporate HSE Specialist

Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist supports enterprise occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance processes through execution, documentation management, reporting, and system administration.

This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, regulatory reporting support, third-party qualification management, and training compliance tracking across all IPS operating units. The position plays a critical support role in maintaining regulatory readiness and documentation integrity while partnering with HSE Directors and Regional HSE leaders.

This role is primarily administrative and systems-focused, with structured support responsibilities rather than enterprise compliance leadership authority. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory reporting readiness, and alignment with internal and external requirements across all IPS operations.

Compliance Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain OSHA recordkeeping (300, 300A, 301 logs) under direction of the Director of HSE & Compliance.

* Support regulatory reporting requirements including data compilation and submission preparation.

* Track and maintain compliance documentation for MSHA, environmental reporting, and other regulatory requirements as assigned.

* Maintain organized compliance documentation systems for audit readiness.

HSE Systems Administration

* Administer and maintain enterprise HSE compliance platforms.

* Ensure data accuracy and consistency within compliance systems.

* Generate compliance reports and dashboards for HSE leadership.

* Support system improvements and process documentation updates.

Third-Party Qualification Platforms

* Administer third-party contractor qualification systems including:

* Avetta

* ISNetworld

* Veriforce

* DISA

* Coordinate document uploads and maintain qualification status for shops and field services.

* Communicate documentation deficiencies to Regional HSE and operational leaders.

Training Compliance Tracking

* Track HSE training completion statuses

* Generate training compliance reports and identify gaps.

* Support development of compliance-related training materials as needed.

Authority & Scope

* Executes compliance administration under direction of Director of HSE & Compliance.

* Does not independently interpret regulatory requirements.

* Does not issue compliance mandates without Director or VP approval.

* Escalates documentation gaps and systemic issues to HSE leadership.

Qualifications and Competencies:

* 2-5 years of experience in HSE, compliance administration, or regulatory documentation support preferred

* Experience with compliance tracking systems or data management platforms preferred.

* Experience supporting multi-site operations preferred.

* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.

* Relevant safety certifications are a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills
