Our Respiratory Therapists provide specialized care for residents with ventilators, tracheostomies (trachs), and other complex respiratory needs. What You'll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will:

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments.

• Provide ventilator management and monitoring.

• Deliver tracheostomy (Trach) care.

• Administer respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy.

• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Monitor residents' respiratory status and modify treatments as appropriate.

• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.

• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Associate's degree (minimum) from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

• Iowa Respiratory Therapist License (or eligibility).

• CRTT, CRT, RRT, or CCT credential.

• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).

• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
