Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Recruiting Assistant Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, employees, and clients via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
• Provide high-quality customer service support for payroll questions, assignments, attendance, and employment concerns.
• Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and internal systems.
• Conduct initial phone interviews and schedule candidate interviews and hiring events.
• Maintain and update candidate and employee records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Support recruiters with pipeline management and filling open positions quickly and efficiently.
• Assist with onboarding paperwork, employment verification, and new hire documentation.
• Process administrative tasks, including reports, spreadsheets, timecard review, and filing.

Recruiting Assistant Requirements & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, staffing, or recruiting is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.
