Your Job This leader owns the Digital strategy, direction, and execution for all mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across the business. The role sits at the front of every deal, partnering with Business Development during evaluation and diligence, and stays through the end, leading the teams that actually do the integration or separation work. It is equal parts planning and delivery: shaping the approach and the numbers early, then owning the cutovers, application rationalization, and infrastructure work that make a deal real.
What You Will Do
- Strategy and direction
- Set the Digital approach for each transaction, from acquisition to integration to divestiture and separation.
- Build and maintain the integration and separation playbooks so every deal starts from a proven model rather than a blank page.
- Define how Digital scopes, sequences, and resources M&A work, and set the standards the delivery teams follow.
- Deal partnership and diligence
- Partner with Business Development early to assess targets, surface risks, and shape the Digital point of view of the deal.
- Develop cost estimates, integration timelines, and synergy assumptions, and stand behind those numbers as they feed the deal model.
- Identify what is realistic to capture and when, so leadership has a clear and honest picture before close.
- Integration and divestiture execution
- Own delivery once a deal closes: site cutovers, application rationalization, infrastructure consolidation, data migration, and network and security integration.
- For divestitures, lead the separation work and manage transition service agreements through their full term.
- Keep status transparent at all times, flag schedule and budget risk early, and hold the line on the realities of each program rather than letting issues surface late.
- Leadership and coordination
- Coordinate the Digital teams a deal depends on, including cybersecurity, ERP, infrastructure and operations, and data.
- Develop long-term partnerships with third-party consultants, building a reliable bench of partners who can scale with deal volume and deliver to Digital's standards.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resourcing across multiple concurrent transactions.
- Build working relationships with leadership at acquired and divested entities, and represent Digital credibly with corporate stakeholders and leadership team.
- Leadership Attributes
- Deep alignment with Koch's Principle Based Management philosophy and Molex values.
- Natural curiosity and continuous improvement mindset with strong execution discipline.
- Skilled in influencing and aligning across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Operates with clarity, humility, and an enterprise-first mindset.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proven track record leading Digital integration and separation in M&A, ideally across multiple deals of varying size and complexity.
- Strong command of cost estimation, synergy analysis, and the financial mechanics of a deal, with the ability to partner directly with Business Development.
- Hands-on experience with the work itself: cutovers, application rationalization, infrastructure consolidation, and data migration.
- Track record leading cross-functional delivery teams under deadline and budget pressure.
- Clear, direct communicator who can move between a deal team conversation and a delivery standup without losing either audience.
- Comfortable owning ambiguity early in a deal and bringing structure to it.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally, as business needs require.
