Customer Care Supervisor *Job Summary*
We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Customer Care Supervisor to lead a team of customer service professionals in a fast-paced contact center environment. This role is responsible for supervising a team of 7-10 agents, providing coaching and mentorship, managing escalated customer concerns, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both team performance and the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys developing employees, solving complex customer issues, and fostering a high-performing, customer-centric culture. Key Responsibilities * Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 7-10 Customer Care Representatives. * Provide leadership support and assist with oversight of a larger customer service operation consisting of approximately 50 representatives. * Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer concerns and ensure timely resolution. * Monitor employee performance through quality reviews, productivity metrics, and customer interactions. * Deliver ongoing coaching, feedback, mentorship, and development plans to support career growth and performance improvement. * Identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement solutions that reduce future customer inquiries. * Support continuous improvement efforts by enhancing team knowledge, resources, and best practices. * Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-focused work environment. * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards. Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED required. * Minimum of 2 years of contact center leadership experience in a Supervisor or Team Lead capacity. * Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees while holding team members accountable. * Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. * Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. * Exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities. * Ability to remain professional and effective in high-pressure situations. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams. Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience in mortgage servicing, banking, financial services, or credit union environments. * Bilingual in English and Spanish. * Experience leading teams in a high-volume customer contact center.
