What You'll Do
  • Manage a team of Workplace & Janitorial staff across multiple sites in the Austin area, ensuring contracted terms and scheduling requirements are met
  • Manage day-to-day operations by establishing and implementing standard procedures for service delivery, team operations, and reporting
  • Partner with landlords and vendors to ensure maintenance is completed across sites, including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, roll-up doors, and fire systems
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train employees while maintaining a safe and secure work environment and developing personal growth opportunities
  • Partner with production, engineering, and admin team leadership to support key objectives and maintain strong customer relationships across the organization
  • Lead and manage multiple complex and strategic initiatives, driving operational objectives for ongoing process improvement
  • Identify technology and process gaps, conduct gap analysis, and translate findings into actionable solutions while maintaining alignment within department budget

What You'll Bring
  • 2-3 years of experience in Workplace Operations, Facilities Services, or a closely related function
  • 2-3 years of experience as a people manager with a proven track record of supervising, developing, and training staff
  • Excellent independent decision-making capabilities and a solutions-oriented attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across a team of specialists
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
  • Experience managing building maintenance or professional certifications are a plus
  • Willingness to travel
