Overview The Billing Agent I is responsible for managing the billing and invoicing processes within the billing department. This role will be responsible for supporting the internal and external customers with populating tickets, reporting and analytic metrics. In addition, this role is responsible for processing invoices, billing customers, and taking care of all related customer invoicing/posting tasks. Ensure invoices are delivered in a timely fashion. The Billing Agent I will ensure that all invoices are error-free as this role plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate billing while also providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
Invoicing: Generating invoices for products or services. Ensuring invoices accurately reflect the quantity, price, and any applicable taxes or discounts.
Qualifications Education * High School degree or GED (Required) Experience * 1+ years experience in bookkeeping and accounting (Required) and * 1+ years experience in transportation and supply chain industry (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail Medium * Must be able to work in a team setting, across multiple time zones and global geographies Medium * Ability to determine resources to meet and exceed company and customer expectations Medium * Ability to problem solve and be solution oriented Medium * Individual must have a self-starter mentality and is adaptive and flexible Medium * Basic Math High * Bookkeeping Medium * Basic Accounting Medium * Microsoft Office Excel experience, required Medium What AIT Can Offer You In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
