Join a leading financial services organization in a pivotal communications and storytelling role. This is a unique, project-based engagement, approximately 90-100 days in duration, focused on making an immediate and significant impact. You will be instrumental in shaping the narrative and amplifying the value of a vital internal team, transforming complex technological advancements into clear, compelling stories that resonate across the entire organization.

About the Opportunity

Our established financial client is seeking a strong storyteller and strategic thinker to help shape, craft, and articulate the identity and value of a key internal team focused on marketing enablement and oversight. In this internal consulting role, you will be the driving force behind defining who this team is, what they do, and how their technology investments positively impact the wider organization.

This engagement will involve interviewing internal business stakeholders, assessing current perceptions and needs, and synthesizing those insights into a compelling narrative. The ultimate anchor deliverable for this role is a definitive, high-impact executive presentation deck that the team will use consistently to champion its mission across the company.

We need someone who can bring these ideas to life, whether it's transforming complex data into simple visuals or creating infographics that help explain. We need someone who can turn raw data into information, and that information into insight.

The ideal candidate is a consultative problem-solver with elite presentation skills and the ability to turn complex technical capabilities into human, value-driven stories.

Key Responsibilities and Impact

  • Craft the Team's Story: Define and articulate the internal team's identity, mission, and value proposition, establishing a clear framework for how the team talks about itself and supports the organization.
  • Champion Technology Value: Build compelling narratives that explain the team's technology portfolio, clearly demonstrating its positive, measurable impact on business outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Discovery & Assessment: Conduct interviews and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to assess current challenges, gather feedback, and learn how to best position the team's solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Own the Deliverable: Design, write, and deliver a comprehensive, executive-ready presentation deck that the internal team can utilize consistently for internal roadshows and leadership alignment.
  • Simplify the Complex: Translate technical capabilities and multi-layered business initiatives into concise, visually engaging, and easily digestible concepts.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic corporate communications, agency strategy, change management, or corporate storytelling.
  • Elite Presentation Skills: Proven mastery in designing high-end, executive-level presentation decks (PowerPoint/Keynote) that combine flawless visual layout with compelling messaging.
  • Consultative Mindset: Strong ability to assess ambiguous situations, ask the right questions, and interview stakeholders to extract core insights.
  • Exceptional Communication: Unmatched written, verbal, and visual storytelling abilities with a knack for influencing audience perception.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Strategy, Marketing, or a related discipline.
