Job Title : Billing Clerk

Location : Remote

Pay range : $20 - $22

Duration : 12+ MONTHS

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk/Associate to support billing and accounts receivable operations. This role will process billing transactions, research payment discrepancies, clear suspense accounts, and communicate with clients, brokers, and internal teams through a shared email inbox.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices, premium payments, adjustments, reversals, and account transactions.
Research and resolve billing and payment-related issues.
Perform account reconciliations and clear suspense items.
Respond to client and broker inquiries through email.
Review billing information for accuracy and maintain proper documentation.
Assist with monthly billing and special projects.

Qualifications

2+ years of billing, accounting, accounts receivable, or financial operations experience.
Basic understanding of debits, credits, and account reconciliation.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong organizational, analytical, research, and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Employee Benefits or insurance billing experience is preferred.
